The new Kiwi is only 2.5"x1" (as opposed to 4.8"x1.5" for the ScanGauge II). It looks like it only can display one value at a time, but that's enough for the sort of typical use I'd put it to. Being only $89 (including shipping) has me thinking of giving it a shot. It can display coolant temperature which would be useful for testing out my grille block.

This new one is very plain by comparison.

It's only 1/2" thick so if I can find a good way to run power to it I might be able to mount it where I can see it and still keep my eyes on the road.

PLX has delayed the kiwi mpg again to the end of the month. The place that sold me mine has been very prompt with updates (today was the day they said tehy were to expect them and they emailed me) and offered me a refund (again) and gave me a $10 off coupon for future use. Wonder what happens if I cancel then reorder with the coupon? It must suck for them to be in the middle like that.

$85.50 including shipping on Amazon. Mine's supposed to be shipping later this week. Only a month late...

I started its own thread for a review of it once it arrives.

iPhone

Anything that works with an iPhone must be overpriced, and lacking real world features and covered in cheap shiny plastic. I'll pass...
