Drive A Hybrid? Park For Free In Some Cities

FERNDALE, Mich. -- Looking to save a little change by driving a hybrid?

Well, if you live in one Detroit suburb you wouldn't have to feed that spare change into a parking meter.

Ferndale, Mich., is giving drivers of hybrids and other cars that get at least 30 miles a gallon a break. The City Council has voted to let the cars' drivers park for free at downtown meters.
