That's right... just around the corner!
Great news! Thanks for the update RobertV. Looking forward to seeing it.

Is there anything I can/need to do to join the beta? I'd love to be a part of that.

As we get closer to releasing it, I'm sure we'll start a thread inquiring about anyone interested in joining the Beta. It'll be a very limited run at first, and we'll slowly open it up for more users after we've ironed out any major bugs that are inevitable with a huge project like this.

Thanks for your interest!

I have been using Gas Cubby for a few years now and have began to use the Fuelly app in the last month. I have read that data from both apps will merge when the new version is out. I really like the service reminders in gas cubby and I am currently imputing data in both the gas cubby and the fuelly apps. I am finding new things on the Fuelly app all the time. My question is will this cause me trouble when they merge? Should I just keep using the GasCubby app until the big move??

The announcement was nearly a year ago. I DO hope the merged Fuelly/Gas Cubby apps are worth the wait.
I also hope there is support for Plug In Hybrid vehicles to track Gasoline and electricity costs.

Fuelly needed a complete backend rebuild for better stability and to allow for supporting more features (many of which are seen on current GasCubby).
After that was completed we realized GasCubby also needed a complete re-write. We've also learned that it's often much easier to completely create a new app, than to take an existing one that was written nearly 4 years ago and try to make it work with what we need.
Regardless, we're very close to finishing things. We've emailed those who signed up for Beta Testing earlier today, and that will be released soon. After we squash any bugs (it'd be naive to expect there wont be any) we'll be able to start rolling with syncing the data from GasCubby to Fuelly.
We feel, the end result, will most definitely be worth the wait.
Thanks for your patience so far!

Any updated on this?

Any news? are you going to develop a whole new app? I'm really looking forward to sync my Gas Cubby information into the Fuelly site.

Thanks.
