Tracking Oil

I have high-mileage vehicles that consume oil, and I like to track how much oil I'm putting into them (and what kind). So, for example, I record that today, I added 16oz of 5w30HM. How do I do that in Gas Cubby?

You could create a service and call it "Add Oil". Then you specify how much you put in when you enter the service info.

Thank you for the suggestion. Where do I specify how much I put in? So far, I've added a Tag of "5w30HM" to track the type, but the only place I can see to specify the quantity is in Notes. But that doesn't provide any way to report totals. I have to search for all the appropriate Notes and add them up by hand.

Anything I'm missing? Or should this be a feature request?

Yeah - I don't know a way to make it cumulative. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the help.

I'm surprised this isn't already supported, as part of the cost of operating an older vehicle. This is an important part of deciding when to overhaul or replace a vehicle.

Fuelly, please consider this a change request. Thank you.
