How to import/enter older records?

I want to import older records, even though I have entered newer records already.

I have a classic car with 15 years of records. Unfortunately, I didn't enter them for a while, and I would like to catch up old records. I would likely type them into my spreadsheet (predating app) and then want to merge into aCar.
Is there a way other than:
export as CSV -- delete from app -- merge in spreadsheet -- CSV -- reimport?

If not, may I suggest a setting that turns off the limitation for only newer records?
If you wanted to minimize accidental usage, put a checkbox in Settings that automatically resets after some time or reboot (and states such)

Thank you as a longtime aCar user!

If the old records are in a CSV file, you should be able to import in the Import/Export menu.

If you have trouble, please send a copy of your fully backup and the CSV with the old data to support@fuelly.com and we'll see what we can do to help.
