Does "Miles" on Fuelly Mobile = Odometer at time of fuel up?

Greetings!

I just logged my first fill-up yesterday using the Fuelly Mobile on my iPhone. I was just wondering whether I was doing it right.

I bought a new car and the dealer filled the tank before I left. At that time, the odometer read 7. I drove it about two weeks, stopped for gas (I was on empty), filled it up. At that time, the odometer read 311.

My question: in the "miles" box on Fuelly Mobile, do I put 7 or 311? I put 311, but I wanted to be sure I was doing this right..

Thank you!

James

You can do either, depending on how you've set your car up on fuelly. Personally I think it's easier to just add the odometer reading, so I edited my car and right at the top it says:

Quote:
Track fuel-ups with trip miles/km or odometer reading?

Odometer Trip Miles (or km) [more info]
So I clicked on Odometer. Done!

Thank you! I decided to delete the only fuel-up that I posted, then edited my car's profile, and changed it to odometer, then re-added that fuel-up.

Thanks for helping me get this straightened out!

On this page http://www.fuelly.com/driver/jhstewart/accent

To the right of 2013 Hyundai Accent • Gas L4 Sedan (Auto) there should be an edit link, it's in there as I described above.
