I own a 2006 Dodge Sprinter, which i use almost exclusively for my Automotive Equipment Sales, and Service Business. I commonly drive 2-300 miles in a day. I am using the fuel log on this site to try and maximize fuel economy.
I am trying to be scientific, and make one change at a time, noting them on the log as I go.
I am hoping that some other sprinter owners, or drivers will campare notes with me.
Please feel free to add notes to this thread, or email me with any tips you might have.
Wow! Monroe, CT! My grandmother used to live there when I was a kid! (Countryside Drive). I bet that place is nothing like I remember anymore.
Anyway, a friend of mine has a Dodge Sprinter diesel bus (I think its a 15 passenger) that his family uses in their tour business in Florida. He's told me before that he gets 22 MPG with front & rear a/c running, and if its only marginally warm outside and they can get away with only running the front a/c they get almost 30 MPG.
