2005 Honda Civic

Hi all I'm new to saving gas.....someone else always paid for it. I have an all stock 2005 Honda Civic that I want to turn into a gas saver.

I'm not looking to spend much right away. I drive an automatic. I like the ideas you guys have come up with. Most of it seems reasonable however, some of the things are way out there.

I'll drive and hope I llearn as much as I can from the masters.

Do you *need* to modify it ? what are your stats for mpg ? Start a gas log .That way we can see what you're getting now and what is possible from other Civics of that gen are getting. Trust me you won't * have * to spend money . It's all in your head ...literally .
Welcome to GasSavers and best FE !

I made my first post in the log 33.7 mpg seems low. But I'm 5% better than I should be........it's a start.
