ha, it's weird... I got the ballz to mention it to my wife tonight and at first I got one of those ($170, are you crazy?!) looks... but about an hour later she actually started asking questions about it, so that's a good sign! Her Solara has a fuel computer OEM, so I can play the deprived sad puppy card too... haha, I'm so whipped

Welcome to GS! You can troll e-bay for a first Generation ScanGauge too, and maybe get a better price.

One thought - With the back seats up, there is no luggage space. You might want to keep an eye out for a trailer hitch and a basket to put into the receiver so that you can take 5 or 6 folks and some luggage on a trip. If you put the luggage out back like that, it shouldn't drop your mileage too much. If you put it on top, the aero hit will kill your mpg...

Just a thought for the long term...

You get the hypertext out of the box at the bottom of the garage page for that car. You paste the hypertext into your signature, which I think would be on the User CP tab.

thanks for both pieces of info.

We pretty much leave the rear seats folded down for cargo space all the time, but if/when we have more than two kids and need that extra cargo space, you do have a point with the wind resistance situation. That's one of the things you give up in the 5... with 3 rows of seats in such a tiny package, you get less than 1' of cargo space behind the rear seats. Oh well

Well, it makes up for it with a nice small size and better mileage. It's all about tradeoffs.
