Another newbie

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! First time poster, long time lurker.

I've got a 2006 Hyundai Accent which has been a fantastic little car. It gets decent FE all things considered, but I'm striving for more with the uncertain economy and skyrocketing costs to top off the tank. I'll likely never be a hardcore hypermiler like some folks, but nonetheless I'm committed to doing my best to bump my FE up a few ticks. It's amazing what you can accomplish just by modifying your driving style.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hanging out with you guys.

welcome!

i feel the same as you. however, there are things you can do that are inexpensive and not hardcore to help beyond driving style...

overinflated tires, EOC, grill block, synthetic lubricants are examples.
