Another TDI owner

Hey everyone.

I just found out about this site today. As a self proclaimed tree hugger I love the idea of people getting together to share tips on getting better mpg.

I have a 2002 Jetta TDI and average around 47mpg on every tank, with mostly highway driving.

I look forward to getting tips on improving my mileage!

SVO's the way to go. It burns much cleaner, and you're dumpster diving your fuel. How cool is that?

repete86: Do you have a macro key for saying "How cool is that" when someone has the chance to go dumpster diving for fuel? Haha...

I should get one. I like being able to get things for free.
