Welcome! And impressive work! Getting these automatics to hypermile is a real PITA! I'll also agree with SVOboy, I know a few people with Aveo's and they are getting horrible gas mileage (for a small car). I don't have any figures for you but I think they average high 20's which is aplorable such a small car. Heck, my dad, a retired 67 year old, gets low 30's with his 2002 Buick Century!

Anyways, didn't mean to ramble! You're in good company here!

That is low for a small car. I was getting high 20's without trying in the Cavalier; then again it is mostly the driver; but could be geared low. Maybe some of the older people that used to bother us with slow driving knew more than we realized.I had an older couple to enter the highway in front of me yesterday on a 55mph highway. I had just left the light, but accelerating slowly. It made me think how unfair it is to speed, making it so dangerous to exit a parking lot or your own driveway.

Wow, those are great numbers for a auto Cavalier, congratulations. I was horrified when I filled up my wifes 99 Cavalier last week only to find she'd averaged 27.6 mpg.

That's about what I was getting about 2 months ago.
