If I understand correctly:
- When there is vacuum, some energy is stored in the spring.
- When there is no vacuum, the spring pushes air into the intake (just beyond the carburetor).

This would provide a very small amount of forced induction boost when it is needed most to help with throttle response, allowing you to use a smaller engine than you'd otherwise normally use.

Is that all correct?

yes , its one more way of puting it, thanks for your feedback.

the purpose of the capacitor stabilizes the pressure spikes and difference to some extent before and after the throtlle valve, making condition right for the fuel to evoparate evenly.

not so simple

Hai,

Now the fluid capacitor may look simple, but the thought and process it took is a long story. I had been drifting through many sorts of business all these 21 years, after getting my Diploma in Engineering. First I opened a twowheeler mechanic shop doing mods on the silencer, aero dynamics on scooters, etc. Actually we were playing and no proper tests were conducted. we would go a trip in the weekends of about 100 to 200 kms, mostly using village roads.all mileage tests were approx.
Those were the times electronic ignition were introduced.new model bikes latest technology with foriegn collabration were appearing in the market. I drifted from mechanical to electronics. Even though I had been doing electronic mods, I would be thinking of mods on the engine like converting two stroke to four stroke, forced scavenging in two strokes, variable timing, variable silencer block for two strokes, variable stroke length and much more.( today I can give you more than a 25 mods on engine alone all in the theoritical stage ) even before i had though about, many ideas were already implemented by companies
Then Digital indicators for gear position that would show 0 for neutral,1,2,3,4 for other gears. Head lamp P,H and L for parking , high and low indicator.
This particular idea of a variable volume chamber was ..... Okay bye!. I shall continue tomorrow, I have to go attend my job

I am at a loss as to what exactly this is supposed to achieve.

increase the FE

hai,
, ? it takes the sudden pressure variation inside the intake manifold caused by throttle valve. i.e. sudden acceleration and deaccelaration while driving certainely causes loss in FE. One more thing even if you are to constantly hold the gas pedal (accelarator)at a position , the road condition, ups and downs hitting the wheels make your engine run a bit slower and faster which in turn causes fluctuation in sucking the air through the throttle valve. even a gush of air would cause the same effect across the throttle valve. Here comes our fluid capacitor to reverse the effect to some effect causing you to certainly increase your FE.

It sounds like your leaning out the intermediate circuit of the carburetor
i.e. power valve?

This sounds like again when on an incline it would delay the power valve circuit? On decel it sounds like can reduce fuel pull through out of the main fuel wells?

Re: ok

Hai pgfpro,

thanks for your interest, let us keep apart how it works, are you ready to test it ,I shall give instructions to build it by easily available things.
shall we go to the do it yourself forum.

I would be glad to test it but everything I have is EFI.

I would go ahead and post it in the "Do It yourself" forum. Maybe someone else could do some testing with a carb setup?
