Wink Hello CRV 2015 owners

Hi,
I bought 2015 CRV Touring 2 months ago. Now it has 1800 miles, I feel my CRV is not performing well as per the advertise mileage numbers. I'm getting average 21 to 25 mpg at max.
Please let me know if that is the real world numbers for new Honda CRV 2015?
(Note: I have been driving Honda civic 06 its giving me 28 to 32 mpg. It has 104k miles.)

Thanks,
Meesala

One of the main reasons fuelly exists is to compare data with other users. Looking at the other 2015 CRV's on here, they average 27 ish MPG, so you're would appear to be worse off. What kind of driving style do you Use? What is your average journey? Short city trips or longer trips in the country?

As a gas powered SUV with an automatic box, your economy is never going to be great, but yours seems lower than average.

Hello! I am happy to say I think we may have just got the most economical 3rd gen Honda CR-V on Fuelly (the guy technically ahead of us has some 152 mpg results, I m gonna say that's a disqualifying error!). 41.8 UK mpg, but that is with the 2.2 diesel and a 6 speed manual gearbox. The 2015 1.6 diesel CR-Vs are posting 51 and 55 mpg, nice! We'll probably get one in a few years, as we are happy with our 2007 model, and would love to reduce our fuel bill by 20%. My biggest improvement to mpg in my Hyundai was fitting a ScangaugeE. Our model CR-V effectively has a factory one in the centre of the instruments, does yours - live and average mpg feedback? Concentrating on that and going easy on the accelerator, keeping tyre pressures correct should help.

With dropping temperatures, your tire pressures might be low. Plus, it is also the season of winter blend gas with the lower fuel economy.

I’ve a 2015 CR-V AWD EX-L so efficiency should be the same as your Touring.
Do you mostly drive in the city? I consider myself quite light-footed but I only average 25mpg. I blame it on city conditions. There’s just too many momentum stoppers and idling moments with all the stop signs and traffic signals.

How's the economy? Perhaps consider swapping to the diesel, it's proving to be VERY efficient, Next Green Car got mid 50's UK MPG, and in a recent Hypermile marathon, someone managed an epic 84 mpg! For an SUV, that's insane. Here's the link incase you're interested:http://www.nextgreencar.com/review/7...-idtec-review/

Oh yeah, don't get to use it often, but every now and then we can use the cruise control- seems to be an eco ally, handy accelerating/decelerating button on the steering wheel to adjust to traffic without exiting cruise.

25 MPG with winter blend gas & possibly ethanol in it sounds about right
