Industrial Designer with aero experience

Hello all,

I've been involved in the building and racing of streamlined recumbent racing vehicles and participated in the World Human Powered Speed Championships in 2003.

My latest project is to offer a motorized velomobile to the masses. It is available in February 2009. Its development is almost complete.

It offers protection from the elements and is designed to cruise in bicycle lanes, not needing license, registration or insurance. I'm already seeing 142 mpg without the vehicle's fairings, so, I'm expecting the mpg to improve a little.

I look forward to responding to more posts. This is a nice forum.

Best regards,

Jeff Bales

I think your Cub would be in the same cold and snow.

But a Cub it a motorcycle. So, you can't use bike paths and bike lanes.

Sure it's out of my range and opportunity, but it is something the guy has made with his own hands.

Interesting concept. I see you're based in AZ, and the concept would probably work out great- I'm not sure how well it would work in the snowy northeast though. (Maybe good in summer!)

Welcome to the forum!
