Motorcycle Commuter

Hey, this site hits the sweet spot in my wallet! Nice to see others working on being a being a bit more fuel efficient.
Been commuting via motorcycle for 8 years now, primarily for fun and ease of parking. Now it's more focused on saving $$ on fuel. My other vehicle is a Dodge Ram 1500 V6(thankfully) that gets 20-22 mpg.
My goal is to raise the stated fuel economy of the Suzuki SV650 from 45mpg to 60mpg.
Next on the list is to test out the Kawasaki KLR650 and work on it's mileage (50+mpg at the moment).

I remember The RoadWarrior..To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time..the world was powered by the black fuel & the desert sprouted great cities..Gone now, swept away..two mighty warrior tribes went to war & touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice
