new sipper in town

99 ranger 3.0ffv is my ride mainly for work. I'm just starting to tweak the mpg and got hooked on a few sites. I'm a auto tech 19yrs Chevy 3yrs ford 14 and Nissan the last 2. I used to have a 5.0L Camaro, I modified it for power and wound up getting power and enough mpg to go an extra day from the same tank full that i used to get. That kinda got me thinking on some mods i can do just for my work truck. I might mess around with areo mods first since it is very gappy. lots of cool ideas at this site ill be jotting down.

Welcome to the site. What kind of mileage difference have you seen between 87 and E85?

the month of May I used E85. mileage was 16-17. now I'm switching back to reg E10 and its 18-23 so far. the 105 octane in e85 was sweet but I was heading to the pumps more. The price stayed at 2.99 a gal compared to gas 2.80-3.15 throughout the month. If it was cheaper I would be living off corn power for a long time.
