Newb from So. Cal

Hello to all new guy here ride an MC daily and have an 03 Prius & 07 GMC Envoy that are my daughter and wife's daily drivers. Considering a rainy day car for me as I have a 75 mile daily commute. Looking for an inexpensive used 40 mpg car.

Yaris...

a definition of inexpensive may help. I have a '97 cavalier that gets mid 30s in the summer (and as much as 37-38 if I work hard at it) that I paid $2k for.

That being said, I gave $12k for my yaris with around 18,000 miles on it and it got 41mpg right out of the box. That has gone down as I have done some performancy stuff to it.

I found a deal to good to pass up. 1996 Mustang w/auto rated for 30mpg highway. Its a one owner car with 130k miles, clean body with oxidized paint all over, new tires and alignment done by previous owner, interior was reupholsteted a couple of years ago so no rips or tears. Got it for $1200, took it to Maaco and had a $600 paint job looks brand new. First two tanks mixed driving have been 26mpg
