What I find astounding about the Caliber (and not in a good way):

- Drag Coefficient 0.375
- Curb Weight, lb 2966 - 3308 lbs depending on model/driveline options.

Ouch.

50 in an auto will be very hard to do. Not impossible but very hard.

50 MPG is not so difficult to achieve! Auto or otherwise.... Cruise this site (even the "For Sale" section!) and keep thy mind open!
