Hi grampymoose -

Welcome to GS! It looks like you have the right pair of cars for where you live. Instead of summer/winter tires, you have summer/winter cars (right?!?!?!?).

Have you ever met this guy?

He may not be the Real McCoy, but he's a Yukon man!!!!!

Talking Yukon Cornelius ...

cfg83 -

I have not met Cornelius personally but I hear he hangs out at this place a lot ...

Never thought about the winter / summer cars & tires thing ... what's summer?

Seriously .. I suppose I could retire the Geo for the winter but the front wheel drive works just fine. BTW we don't get much snow here ... about 12" is average. When it gets to be -30 and 5% humidity there is no moisture in the air left to create snow ... it's just plain cold! As some Canadians are known to say: "But it's a DRY cold!"

Thanks for the chuckle (photo)!
