$29.01 to fill up!!

I just spent the most I have ever spent today to fill up my Festiva...$29.01 Good thing I don't drive a gas hog anymore...... My truck would cost me $120 or more... thank goodness i rarely have to drive that thing!

yup.. of course, after taxes its about right. takes me 35 to fill my 10 gallon tank on civic, i make about 50 a day after taxes (8.5 an hour, single)

Mine was $36.73 from the "E" mark, 10.837 gallons. The fuel light hadn't came on yet though. Still had a couple gallons left in the tank.

You guys don't realize how lucky you are.
It takes me 60€ or $93 to fill my Civic's small tank.

$50 for the Maxx, $50 for the Altima. 16 gallon tanks there. Can't wait for the CRX. I would hate to live in Europe as much driving as I do - their gas prices (as noted above) are significantly higher.

Then again, doesn't ALOT of that go to pay for stuff like universal health care?

More than half of it is tax but that doesn't mean the government spends the money wisely, at least in my country.

The universal health system is a joke with year-long waiting periods for something as simple as an ophthalmologist's appointment. Surgery is worse. In reality, either you go to the private sector or die waiting.
