Looks like a helpful list. Sometimes I wonder about the grocery store discounts, though. Your first tip mentions you can save around $1.30/week (Australian) by filling up at stores that offer discounts if you spend a certain amount of money there. We have the same thing in the US and I use them from time to time. But I've heard the gas they have isn't as good as the name brand stations like Shell and Chevron. So I wonder if you save at the pump but lose on efficiency? I haven't noticed big swings between stations in my mileage, but it's something I always wonder when I'm filling up at a grocery store.

I buy gas at a Grocery Store gas bar and get a 2 cent/litre coupon. They buy their gas from the same refineries and I have not detected any difference. Even before the coupon their price is usually lower than the competition.

I didn't give all that much to the term " tire pressure " until gas started getting to expensive. Now I check my tires weekly and add or substract as needed. My milage has gone up...mabey not a lot, but UP.
