Aftermath: World without Oil

The National Geographic channel Thursday March 18th from 6 to 7 pm Eastern will show Aftermath: World without Oil. Its a scenario of the Middle East region running out of oil and how the world has to adapt. Very post apocalypt, we go through oil reserves, to bio diesel, then alcohol, electric cars, carbon fiber replacing plastic, and a future generation that has to live in a green farming community to survive. It projects 50 years in the future where the world recovers from its 150 year addiction to oil. Worth watching.

I already live in a green farming community to survive. Where will I go next?

50 years in the future? By then you probably won't care.

carbon shmarbon read my global warming rants about how I think the warming is coming from the warmth we humans add to the world as opposed to carbon dioxide being the culprit!
warmth warm

natural gas produces about 10% of the pollution that gasoline does from what I understand.

Ultimately electric cars, natural gas home heating with solar mixed in is about the best we can do right now,

Then you could always go crazy and store solar energy in batteries to heat your home, I guess?

Ever heard of the Black barrel filled with oil in the sun all day? attracts and maintains heat,, If only I could get enough oil and barrels..
