Best (LRR?) 175/70/13 tire

Im in the market for new tires for the Civic because mine are balding and are getting dry rotted.

I need 175/70/13's.

Does nobody make an LRR in this size? The only LRR's I can find are 14" and larger.

Lately I'm getting 47/48 and I'm looking for a little extra for to push me over the 50mpg mark before I try aero mods.

The Sumitomo HTR200 comes in 170/70rr13
They're the 3rd best tire in the Green Seal 2003 LRR tire compro.
Only problem is that they're not much good in snow.

Get 14" HX rims and go for the Bridgestone Potenza 14/65/165's. They were OEM on the Insights. Yo=u cant beat them. The combo of the HX rims and Potenzas are worth 3-5 MPG.

Vredestein Quatrac II tires come in 165/70/13 and are LRR. that is the stock size for the vx so it should be a fairly efficient size, nice and narrow at least. they probably also have the 175s. They are 53$ each. the sumitomos are cheaper. the vredesteins would be better in the snow and have a 60K treadwear warranty.

thats a good idea with the hx rims and the insight tires.
I also like those insight wheels, because they are so aero (I wonder if they weigh more), i bet they are hard to find and expensive.
