Better gas mileage for an RV

What would be the best ways to increase on my RV? It is a C class RV so it has a front end like a van.

Pump up the tires, get some feedback on your mpg (scangauge, supermid, diy mpg gauge, vacuum gauge, anything) and figure out what speed is the best to travel at. Without mpg feedback you might as well grope in the dark.

Ditto. Whatcha getting now for MPG? Is it gas or diesel? How old? Has it been maintained properly? Do you all sorts of "stuff" hanging off it (awnings, bikes on the front, etc)?

I guess the best place to start is with your SG...see what you are getting at the speeds you plan to drive. Are you trying to maximize your highway MPG?? What rear end ratio do you have in the beast?

With an RV...a lot of the poor mpg is CD related? Drive slower. Buy a weather radio and only travel with the wind.
