Civic VX upshift indicator location?

Hello,

Sorry if posted in the wrong place, a few questions for the VX owners:

1. Does anyone know where the upshift light is located? Is it below the temp gauge? Going to order the temp gauge from a close friend at Honda, I already have the tach. The car was salvaged and I am restoring it, currently has a DX cluster in it.
2. What years has the upshift light, 92-52 Cali and Federal, or only federal 94-95?
2. My cali VX was converted to 48 state, will the shift light work if I already converted to 5 wire O2 and ECU?
3. In this pic, is the upshift light pictured?

Yes, the pic does show the shift light, right below the temp guage. inside the square. I am pretty sure the shift light came in 92-95 Federal VXs only. Not Cali. If you have the O2 sensor and ECU and everything is hooked up right it should work...good luck

Re: Civic VX upshift indicator location?

I have a 92 CA vx converted over to the FED and I can tell you that the upshift light doesn't work. I have the 5 wires O2 sensor and the FED ecu but the upshift light still doesn't work. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong or if there's something else that I have to do for it to work but I couldn't get it to work. If you looking for a VX cluster with the upshift light mine is forsale.

Cool, I will pass on getting one, money spent elsewhere is better.

Regarding it not working, I think I seen it on another forum that you have to wire it in under the dash.
