CRX VX intake

Does anybody know where I can get a cold air intake for a vx. I live in alaska and when it was minus 50 last winter my intake hose broke in half. I've tried to get it from the dealer but the HF intake is dicontinued. I've checked all the junk yards in town. The problem with the intakes I can find is the small throttle body. I have an HF with a VX motor. Can I get a silicone coupling from somewhere that reduces that small off the internet somewhere because none off the parts stores here have them.

How big does the coupling need to be?

You can get 4", 3" or 2" ID rubber sleeve coupling at a hardware store for $5-10- look in the plumbing section- it will be black rubber and will have hose clamps on both ends. They even sell a 3"x2" reducer and a 4"x3".

Great idea man. I was thinking about getting one of those ebay cold air intakes and just using the metal pipe. Thanx man.

I need the intake hose. If you have that I would love it.
