Can't say I have every had that type of problem. To be sure, I definitely DO look at my gas guage, but I am much more concentrated on my speedometer. There are never any cars around me where I drive, so I am able to just glance ahead of me and forget about my mirrors most of the time. Speaking of which, I think that I am going to try my drive tomorrow without side view mirrors. Folding 'em in!
