HMMMMM not exactly gas saving.... racing cars. BUT every once in a while I have to nail the Blue Beast's go pedal. Usually after some ignoramus cuts me off while I'm coasting up to a red light.

It's far too scary for me to stay on it and get up to speed and risk a big ticket. But letting an idiot driver see a 6000 pound truck doing a smoky burnout is worth it.

Any car could do that on crappy tires. Especially skinny VX tires.

I have relatively new (10,000 miles on them) Michelin Destiny tires. Yes, they're hard, but I cannot get them to squeal when cornering. That's part of the reason why I was so surprised.
