Future Predicted Gas Prices

I look at the economy like this. Its like a huge ship like the Queen Mary... You need a lot of room to turn it around. Right now the huge ship is stuck on a sandbar, and all we need is a nice high tide to get us off and free again. With Obama at the helm I fear he'll get the ship off the sandbar just to run it into an iceberg. Yeah, he'll learn, but at what expense to our economy? This is not the time or place for on the job training.

The problem with no time for OJT is we would have had that with McCain too. He said in an interview in September or August that he didn't understand the economy as well as he should. That's just as scary as Obama.

I agree with that. I may not have gotten my intent across in my post. I was trying to emphasize that "he'll learn" is a bad thing. Kinda like when you have a child and say "they'll learn," it's usually while they're doing something dangerous and the way that they learn is through some terrible thing happening. Only after they learn, they may be minus a finger or some skin. That's not the kind of damage our economy needs from him learning.

honestly, I don't know if anybody knows the economy very well. Maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully I am! hopefully somebody knows and will fix it.

I think things just need to settle down. Everything has been going 8 miles a minute in the last 5-6 years that this crash was bound to happen. We need slow growth. Slow and sustainable. Diesel locomotives, not bottle rockets.

Re Obama 'He'll Learn'

Experience is the best teacher by far. Too bad it only comes right after you need it. xD

We will see if the gas prices go up a little at Thanksgiving as it usually does . . . and Christmas. The trend is still downward . . . maybe time to stock up on summer blend before the winter blend is delivered to the pumps.
