So much for a gallon expecting to 'peak' at 3.60 a gallon. National average is already 3.51

Its already been $3.659 in some places here in Upstate NY. Usually its nice to be above average, except when you're talking of something like this. Yikes.

For the first time today I actually heard someone complain that it cost $10 to mow their lawn. Of course it's a John Deer riding mower.

I think it's still only costing me 80c a litre to mow my lawn, stale old can of stuff I bought 3 years ago... I guess it was about 5 litres and I use about half a litre to cut the front and back lawns twice. So even at todays gas prices that's only about 15c per lawn... but... electric would cost 1/3 of that

Without fuel, they were nothing..thundering machines sputtered & stopped..Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice

a gas station outside of orlando int'l airport is selling 87 octane gas in excess of $4.80 USD/gal. YES, 4 8 0!!! FYI, our local avg as of today is ~$3.55ish.

the price is not even the sick part...

a local news station stopped in to ask customers if they knew how much they were paying for their gas. many of them did not even know!!!

blame the oil companies, the station owners, the gov't, or whomever. but, ultimately it is the knucklehead consumer that is continuing to consume and consume gluttonously no matter what the price!
