Worth a read but most or all of those techniques are probably well known to readers here.

One point is the BBC is regarded as an authority in the UK and has a lot of credibility so having them endorse these methods will bring it to the general public a lot more quickly than it otherwise would.

Apparently;
1. British Mini's use Diesel.
2. A green nozzle doesn't mean Diesel in England.
3. He's putting Diesel Fuel in a Petrol Mini.

A green nozzle here in the UK and Europe signify's Unleaded fuel. Point to remember if anyone from across the pond comes here and drives. Diesel is a black nozzle and LPG has the connector type of fitting.
