Got a PB on my commute route on my motorcycle - 49,785mpg. I'm a little bummed that I didn't make 50mpg, but it beats my former PB for my commute by 2 or 3mpg!

Two more tanks in a row with PB's, first a 19,139mpg effort, than right after that came 20,822mpg. YAY for breaking 20!

I decided to move this thread out of the off topic forum, since the topic of discussion is fuel economy. Its now in the General Fuel Economy forum, as it should be.

Finally got over 45 mpg for two tanks in a row filled at my usual station and pump. I've had spikes higher, but always due to using a different gas station than normal (with the result that the next tank was below average). Two tank average was 45.41 mpg for 671.5 miles.

We don't. It's entirely on the honor system. Luckily, nothing material is at stake.

If something seems too hard to believe and isn't explained well, it's possible that we (the moderators and administrators) could adjust or delete it. We had one case like that once.

Broke my personal record today, it's 2.74l/100km (85.75 US MPG) now
This board clearly helped me, now I understand a bit more about neutral coasting, DFCO and Pulse&Glide (it's very good to coast downhill with clutch held at city speeds, much harder to do above 60-70km/h because of the air drag, it becomes kind of P&G'ing down on steeper slopes). Teresa, despite being a totally capable, full-fledged bike with 650cc, is a very good candidate to reach great FE, now directly competing with 50cc scooters (though their use differs a lot, she mostly runs off-city). I'm pretty impressed
Also this is my first time I did not refill for 500+km!
