HF to SI tranny swap complete, questions about tire size...

Alright i completed my tranny swap from hf to si on my hf motor, i didnt think the gearing on the si tranny would be so short...going 65 on the highway i'm at 3000rpm! since the redline is at 5000 rpm i am thinking i will have to get larger wheels.

Is there some way of calculating the rpm drop going from 13" wheels to 14" wheels? or is it the tire size that will need to be larger?

Since an si originally came with 15"wheels...are my 13" wheels screwing up the vss signal to my speedo?

reason i swapped trannys was the hf bearings were almost gone and the acceleration of the si transmission was only bearable for 10 years.

Si originally came with 14", but the vss is prolly a little off, but most of them are off stock anyway, you need to test it out to see for sure.

Anyway, it's the tire size that counts, but you'll need bigger rims to get much bigger tires,
