When I bought my VX, I was told that it went through about a quart of oil every 3000 miles. I have put about 2000 miles on the car since I changed the oil and filled it to just up to the top line. I checked it today, it was about a millimeter above the top line. I thought the car was pretty level. At anyrate, doesn't seem it's burning any oil at all! This was a nice "surprise" when juxtaposed to the other surprises, such as the rear brakes seemingly having never been touched in the life of the car.

Car mods are overrated. Just gotta adjust that nut behind the wheel for best mpg.
