Lowering the front of the vehicle for FE...

Would lowering the front of the vehicle (moreso than the rear) help with FE gains at all? I just figured more of the airflow might be directed over the smooth top of the car versus the choppy undercarriage. I'm just dying to get a belly pan put together for the CRX. Sure wish someone sold these.

**Also, for Little Blue and other CRX'ers...what type of lowering shock & spring do you use? I've been informed that using a stock/OEM shock with a lowering spring is just asking to have the shock fail prematurely. I'm not looking to spend an arm & a leg. I just want a pretty good set that will drop the car 1.5-2 inches. Whatever helps.

That's a good question.... I wonder if an air dam would be better -- considering you're presenting a bigger frontal area...

I think that lowering would be better. Less air under the car, same area.

As far as lowering just the front, hmm... Don't know.
