In addition to the extra energy required to push tires (especially snow tires) through snow and slush, there's even more loss as the tires slip.

The weather here in Boston is going to be in the '50s tomorrow. Spring is near! This will really help my FE, since I'll be taking the motorcycle out.

winter FE

While i am new at this it looks like to me that my winter numbers are about 3MPG off of the summer numbers (about 37MPG when below freezing and near 40 when its warm out) does this match what everyone else is seeing or should i be looking at other causes?

sounds like my stats. my gaslog reflects that
