And my first GPS unit came with no updates at all, with being about $50 for the North America set.

Ok, I can't find the place to copy the codes for my signature. Is that because I haven't recorded a fill yet and they'll magically appear when I do? Or something else?

Where it says No VEHICLE is where the mpg figures would appear, so until you have recorded a fill and got figures to display, I would think it has nothing to show.

Yes, except those are for the CR-V I deleted. I left them in the signature for now so I had something to compare to when I change them.

Click your cars profile, then scroll to the bottom under the graph, you'll see "badges" and you'll find the code to copy and paste there.

I think I'll have to wait until I record a fill for that to show up.

Congrats LDB. Nice vehicle. And it's a Toyota. Honda's ain't no slouch. Did your CRV become a victim of the floods?
You're in Friendswood. I grew up in Clear Lake City. I wonder how they did in the hurricane/floods.

The water came up the driveway to about 4 feet from the garage doors. We park on the driveway. I back in and she pulls in so her back tires and my fronts were in water. It got into the charcoal canister of her car and got the back floor carpet wet but not the front. It didn't do anything to mine, a combination of higher ground clearance on the CR-V and being backed in.

We are about 8 blocks from the creek. At block 5 it almost looks like a magic wall was in the street, one side every yard full of mountains of debris from the houses flooding and the other side not. CLC has areas that were wrecked just like our neighborhood. The luck of the draw or lack thereof.

I finished the day with 102 miles showing, about 90 of them mine. I suspect the mpg is going to be down about 10% from what I was used to. For all the pluses the car brings it's worth it, especially since I only drive about 6,xxx miles per year.

I just walked away from buying a new Toyota Highlander with Nav because the salesman told me that it had to be updated every 3 years at a cost of about 300.00. I can buy a brand new GPS for less then that, and better yet, Waze is free on my phone.
