Unless you are licensed to work on speedo/odo, you are in violation of federal anti-tamper laws.

That may depend on where you live

I've read that in Ontario, as long as I state the odo has been changed when transferring ownership, all's well. 3rd party info - I haven't verified it.

Personal best & milestone passed on this tank: 75.57 mpg (US)

View this vehicle's gaslog

Wasn't that long back that I was excited to see my first 75 MPG segment.

Yes, I only went 275 miles - sorry I just had to fill up before I went on my holiday - couldn't wait until July to know. Also my gas was going stale (I'm riding my bike more than driving these days, on a trip count basis.)

ScanGauge was under by 1.1% from the ODO, and 3.8% under on fuel used, for a total of 3.4% off from the MPG calculation. I did notice that 3 times on this tank, the SG failed to awaken when first starting the car. Twice I noticed pretty quickly, and one time I drove for a while (can't remember how far). Prodding its "Home" button snaps it to attention when this happens, though I'm not sure how much those incidents contribute to the overall error.

Holy crap, Darin, that's one amazing tank! Way to go!

We're not worthy! We're not worthy!

Thanks. I guess Fireflies are effective lures for CODFISH.

Is CODFISH going to end up in the Wiki now?

EDIT: I just noticed that you nabbed the #1 spot on the top 10 list as well...nice! Hopefully I can actually get on the list with another 50+ mpg tank.

Sigh... I'm doomed. I am convinced that I could hit 70 for a tank but it would take way too much effort and would make me the recipient of many many gestures from the proctologists behind me. If I worked the night shift, 75 would be doable. But there isn't a night shift where I work and even if there was, my wife would divorce me.

But enough about my problems. Congratulations Metro!
