not to highjack hyour post, but i'm heading to tenn tommorow (sat) hoping to stay over 35 mpg.

26.5 was closest

Congrats... It was 26.7 weighted average for the trip.

26.3 for the first tank which seemed low but it was nearly all into the wind
26.0 in the middle mountainous section (10-13 up or 40-150 down)
28.7 along the flats although 55 on I95 was nearly impossible to do

No EOC, no drafting, averaged in the low 50 MPH rage.

Scary thought - I only saw a handful of cars on I95 that would have been getting better mileage than my gas sucker.
