I have heard that about the Prius FCD. Mine was reading on the low side though. Hmm.

I have never gotten consistant fills because of the bladder. It's really all over the place. Still you have a FE killer on your hands I'm looking forward to your progress.

this weeks SG results
353 miles 8.0 gallons 43.9mpg tank average to date . . . minus
195 miles 4.6 gallons 42.1mpg tank average for prior week . . . equals
158 miles 3.4 gallons 46.47... mpg for the week . . . woo woo!

Warm weather helping and got a flat Friday in the right rear this time - white painted bolt and washer straight in the middle of the tire and it broke up some of the really fine steel belt wire in the tire with the bolt threads from driving on it about 45 miles. Plugged it this morning until it can be inside patch.

A fill today.
397.2 miles
14.156 miles
28.05 mpg

A few percent better than my baseline. This is the second farthest I have ever gone on a single tank. I could have gone ~50 more miles. :-)

P&G all over town early in the tank, 60-65 mpg highway cruising on the last part.

I won't be filling for another week. Scangauge has me at:
447 miles
7.1 gallons
63.1 mpg
30 mph ave.

I re-did my front wheel rings today. They probably don't help, except psycholigically . Maybe better finish the belly pan if I am going to keep improving. These are decent numbers though. The slope of my gaslog is working in my favour. Got a few more things to do.

Hey there FETC Members...

Here's the new thread for posting Cycle 2 results and discussion.

Don't forget about the "lessons learned" thread to discuss the last cycle.

Best FE

The Commish

P.S. TC's: try to report your team's results Monday Noon CST (makes it easier on the Commish). Thanks!

Filled the tank today after a weekend of travel (with donut tires on):
468.7 miles driven, 8.484 gallons used = 55.24 MPG(US).

$37.69 to fill the tank

I do that all the time too (writing mpg instead of mph!)
