A couple of more cars worth mentioning:

Aptera Plug-in Hybrid (Concept, production in 2009 or 2010). Estimated in excess of 200 mpg. 100% electric or Plug-in-Hybrid versions available. Target, US Market. California.

And... for those pickup drivers.

Volkswagen-Skoda Caddy Diesel (9U), Approx 40-50 mpg


Skoda Pickup FUN, I think only GAS versions, 30-40 mpg, I believe.


Ford Courier(Brazil)/Bantam (South Africa) Diesel about 40 mpg
