If anyone can find them, post all the specs I've posted on the veghicle you enter.

I may write a blog entry featuring these cars and explaining why they do so well in fuel economy. Perhaps even go into a little history of high mpg cars, like the 95 horsepower Opel GT diesel race car concept that returned 98 mpg and topped 124 mph in 1972.

I posted them in U.S. gallons, converting figures I found through google and other search engines. The Eco Speedster, for instance, got 113 mpg imperial combined. That's 94 mpg U.S.

Is it just me, or is the GM Precept remind one of a Tatra 603 if they were still building them? Knowing GM, maybe we will see it one day.....

The Mitsubishi i does 0-60 mph in 10.6 seconds and tops 115 mph. See the following link, but later searches varified it:

www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=1757

I've also seen on evworld and elsewhere that the drag coefficient of the ES3 was .23 according to Toyota.

Also, there is more than one incarnation of the Jetcar. Are you referring to the 1.5, or 2.5 version? Or others?

The Jetcar 2.5 weighs 1,366 pounds, tops 100 mph. 67 mpg US urban, 112 mpg US extraurban. I don't know how the EU calculates combined cycle, but it may work out to the 94 mpg you listed. 40 horsepower is correct, of course.

The Jetcar 1.5 is a smaller version, returning 149 mpg U.S. with an 11 horsepower diesel and having a 68 mph top speed. It has a weight of 859 lbs. See the following two references:

http://www.jetcar.de/english/techdat_jetcar_15_eng.html
http://www.evworld.com/view.cfm?sect...le&storyid=573

The Suzuki Twin has a 78 mph top speed, 44 peak horsepower produced from both drives combined.
