Today it hit 90 degrees

My normal daily trip plus a few extra stops. On the inward leg I hit 85 MPG at one point. One day I will make it 80 round trip.

Sounds good . . . in yesterday's record setting high 88 degree day I was pushing 65-68mpg for a while on country roads - the new scangauge software still needs a fillup calibration so I guess it may be off by 9% but still a very good average for my xB.

Its been in the low 90's here too. What I've been doing is avoiding trips in the middle of the day (So I don't use the a/c in the truck), and I've been leaving the windows open at night, let the cold air into the house, then close them first thing in the morning and try to keep the cold air inside. So far we have managed to not turn the a/c on yet.

Yea, this hot weather is really bothering me.

I am ready for 60 degrees any time.

We've been in the mid and upper 80's since the weekend. I can't wait to see what this tank's mpg's are. It's kind of bothering me because the gas gauge isn't looking as good as I'd like, but sometimes that gauge acts crazy. Hopefully it's just the gauge acting up!!!
