VW Jetta fast riser

Amazingly fast rise from worst to first for the Jetta. 6 months ago it wasn't even in the top ten tracked cars list on Fuelly, and today it passed the Honda Civic as the number 1 tracked car. i would believe it fast rise was due to the really catchy Fuelly badge making it way on to the TDI club site and attracting to sign up on Fuelly to get one. the merger of gassers and TDI'S helped a bunch too. 6 months ago there where no Fuelly badges on the Tdi site and now most have one. www.tdiclub.com

No small part due to your thread either.

Would be nice to list the TDIs and the gasser Jettas on their own. The gassers really drag down the mpg graph.

jettawreck, you must have missed this discussion. At one time we had a special section for TDIs, but we decided to group them together for a number of reasons.

We do have filters so you can just look at diesels if you want.

While it's true that the gassers are driving down the average mpg of Jettas as a whole, it's easy to see that there are two peaks on that graph. Also, the lead-foot TDI owners aren't helping either. Hell, I'm doing better than 1/3 of the TDI owners!

Yes, I did miss that discussion. It was before I signed up, and I admit, I did not search for history. I will have to try and figure out the "filters". Haven't checked into that yet. I don't spend much time on this site as a tank of diesel lasts almost 2 weeks or 800 plus miles. Spend most of my spare internet time on TDIClub, where I have learned and shared a lot in the last 5 years. If anyone has questions or issues with their TDI, they should consider that site a "must".
