I got full price on top of my settlement price for my two new tires and my koni adjustable struts. Only $600. But like 20 days old and on top of high book settlement. I was happy and bought it back for 1200.00 fixed and sold. Made like 1000$. It was way to nice to go to the scrap yard. The adjuster was like there is no way this car is totaled till he found out how much the side curtain airbag was. he kept saying how nice the car was. Look for comparables good luck. I had 4 or 5 stores away but that was a few months ago. Best of luck. Don't accept anything unless your happy. There is no going back.

That is just about the most expensive place to get hit.

Really it only hurt the rear door and the dog leg had a little damage. The rear door window still worked. Had it not been the sidecurtain going off heck I only spent 600$ or so on parts. Airbag door and a dogleg assembly. Labor and paint well double that. If this was my vx ild argue til I was blue in the face get top dollar buy it back and drive it for ever.
