We don't have regular here. But fuel prices hit records.
I pay over 1,6 euro for 1 liter!!
This is 8,76 dollar for 1 gallon for the most popular, common fuel: petrol EURO95.
And you guys say petrol is expensive?

We're at 140yen per liter of regular gasoline or $1.68USD per liter, so about $6.72 USD a gallon

waited to get my statement to readdress this issue. my statement contained 4 fill ups (2 each for my wife and i) at $151.14, yielding $7.56 cash back reward. in my calculation that is 5%.

when gas was near $4/gal, we were in fact paying nearly 20 cents less per gallon. shell in my area is very competitive, so i dont pay 10 or 15 cents more just to save 20. it's more like 2 or 3 pennies more...sometimes less or equal.

i do have to confirm tho, that now for new card applicants, it is in fact only 5 CENTS, not 5% on the gallon. sorry...

edit: i have also confirmed discover card lowered their gas purchase cash back % to 2, down from 5 as well. the limit has been raised however.

Our gas finally topped out at $3.869 I think for the cheapest thing in town, but has been decreasing in price for the past few weeks. I stopped and bought a can of gas for the lawn mowers earlier this afternoon for $3.569.

I paid $3.51/ gallon in texarkana Tx.

You can also get an app for your android phone called "Gas Buddy" which keeps tabs on local gas station prices.

In my place, gas prices are down -- for now. But the days whenever you could just leave without thinking about fuel costs are long behind us. Now watchful planning and thought is given to our every move when driving. Here are several simple considerations which may conserve you some green next time at the gas station. The Tips for better gas mileage helped me a lot. Try it too. Just like, when you have to idle for longer than 45 seconds, turn off your engine. And ?warming up? your car is unnecessary with most modern cars. If you just start and go, you will save the gas burned up while it idles.
