they sell 5watt incandescent bulbs at wal mart (3pack for 10$) these are pretty damn bright if you paint your light fixtures bright glossy white, they will light an entire room

but you must paint your light fixtures several times, the properties of reflectivity are key in lighting..... white is more reflective than a silver metal reflective surface. this is scientific fact, I painted some lamps I own completely white too, and recoated the trim in my apartment white glossy and it is real bright

btw my electric bill was 31$ last month..., I am saving alot of natural gas and/or Oil being burned to create electricty, how to calculate that into my MPG average?

I also had a 25$!!! gas bill my MODs hahaha are... surround my water heater with particle board and a piece of sheeet metal to keep inthe heat.. +++++++++ turn off pilots on stove(turn off stove all together) and turn off pilots on furnace. plus during the summer I had my water heater temp setting a little lower.. I am energy star approved

I know of people who routinely have 80$ + electric bills, they say the pollution emitted from your house is twice of that of your car.. I wonder what my ratio is, lol

also using solar powered LED (10) use 5 or 10 good for 2 or 4 hrs of battery life. It's aShed Light,
with a solar panel and 16 ft chord available at Benny's, would make a good interior light for a car... I have also soldered/wired 6 solar lawn lamps together to give me a power supply for self wire/configured led setup inside...
I light my entire front room with these, as I have painted the wall they are next to bright white... try painting your ceiling semi-gloss white, it may serve to reflect less light moreso
