Battery Blanket

New member here (yay)! Would you recommend me buying a battery blanket? I have a ram so thinking about this: https://www.ramsareus.com/sku/82300778.html. Or is there any substitute I can buy? Lastly, is it really needed during winter or my battery can survive the cold? (will move next month so see you jackets and hot tea)

Such a battery warmer is only needed in places like Alaska. If you don't think an engine block heater is worth it where you live, then it is probably the same for the battery blanket.

The blanket is not necessary unless you live in a place with extremely cold weather.

I have one that is factory on my Ranger and is tied into the same wiring as my block heater. I will say my truck cranks and starts like it's warm when it's plugged in, but I'm sure the block heater has a lot to do with that. I don't use it very much since I park my truck in the garage in the winter, and I don't have a place to plug it in at work, which is when it would actually do some good.
