I dimly recall dieselmech posting about all those nonsense "experiments" (which sound to me more like daydreams) years ago... Nah, not even going to search for 'em.

Thanks, that was very interesting!
I seen it a couple days ago but haven't had time to reply or even dig very deep into it. (end of fiscal year)
Ford has been heavy into the hyd systems and then about a year ago they disappeared.
